Today I went Christmas shopping with my Dad. As we were heading into the city, I got a lesson on the accomplishments of some of the worlds greatest composers. It turns out that Beethoven changed classical music. It turns out that he came up with the idea of using the ticket prices to pay the musicians. Prior to him, each person in the symphony had to have a sponsor.
As Dad so eloquently put it, "Without Beethoven, Bon Jovi would be working in a used car lot."
Well done Beethoven. Well done.
