Well, instead of the training class, I had a last minute appointment with an oral surgeon. And it looks like eventually.. not immediately..I will have to undergo a bit of pain.
I have arthritis in my jaw caused by my lower jaw being too small. So they will have to break my jaw and extend it a bit to match up to my upper teeth. They showed me the maxillofacial x-ray and I saw a bit of a gap between my jaw bone and the socket it is supposed to be connected to.
So, yucky...did I ever mention how much I fear dentists? And now I will be fearing oral surgeons to boot!
