Good Job Grace!

Tuesday, my team went out for lunch to celebrate a couple birthdays for the month. As I was walking across the street in my sassy new heels...and BAM! I hit a hole in the road and went down on all fours. Right in front of some guy pulling out of a parking lot in a rusty old bronco.

I "rooned" my nylons, scuffed my new shoes, and now have the knees of a 7 year old .

The last time I biffed it in public was in Utah. I was shopping at Fashionplace Mall with my best friend and stepped out of Nordstrom's to cross the street. I hit the ground (again) on all fours right in front of a mini-van full of people which preceeded to start inching up on me as if they were going to use me as a human speed bump if I didnt get the rock out of the way.

Now that I have had time to think about it. I beleive that humiliating falls are my specialty. I was at church about 5 years ago. The one in Tooele, behind the old McDonalds ( I know Josh and Em know which one I am talking about) and wasnt watching where I was walking. Stepped off into mid air instead of compensating for the cement steps.
Now that was fall to remember. It was like everything was in slow motion. That time, I went head over heels about four times then landed spread eagle with my skirt hitched up around my waist in the grass. My friend quickly pulled my skirt down as I was laughing so hard tears were streaming down my face.

Sigh.. good times falling.. lol
